Who we are
Jacques Erasmus Physiotherapists was founded in September 2005. Since inception, we have offered physiotherapeutic services to the patients of UCT Private Academic Hospital, otherwise known as the "hospital with heart".
Today we operate as a team of 3 professional, dynamic and enthusiastic physiotherapists - boasting over 25 years of combined experience.
What we do
Operating within UCT Private hospital, we help to serve a wide patient demographic, including hospitalized patients, outpatients, and clients with pre-booked appointments.
Our focus is vast, with doctor referral in hospital we assess and treat post-operative patients from general and specialized surgery, various medical conditions and intensive unit care.
In addition to hospitalized patients, our private rooms accommodate for personalized assessments and individually tailored treatments.

Our Team
Jacques Erasmus
BPhysT, University of Pretoria
Jacques graduated in 1999 from the University of Pretoria. He started his career at the military hospital. He then moved to UCT Private hospital. In 2005 Jacques started his own practice at UCT Private hospital which has grown to the company it is today. He has a keen interest in respiratory care and rehabilitation.
Saarah Cader
BSc Physiotherapy, University of the Western Cape
Saarah is a proud UWC graduate who completed her community service in Mpumalanga in 2019. Her passion is patient-centric physiotherapy. Saarah strongly believes that listening to the patients' needs and using a holistic approach to treatment of her patients, will always lead to the best possible outcome. A balanced lifestyle is important to Saarah and she spends her spare time hiking, taking long drives or catching up with family and friends.
Raadiyah Fortune
BSc Physiotherapy, University of the Western Cape
Raadiyah graduated from UWC in 2019. She completed her community service in Kimberley in the Northern Cape Province. Her areas of special interests lie in ICU rehabilitation, Orthopaedics and Paediatrics. In her spare time Raadiyah enjoys painting and outdoor activities such as hiking.
Sean Julius
BSc Physiotherapy, University of Cape Town
Sean graduated in 2019 from University of Cape Town. He has a passion to help those in need. Driven by this passion, Sean is skilled in providing physiotherapy care to patients in the acute and sub-acute settings which includes respiratory and physical rehabilitation. While not engaged in his profession, Sean enjoys a balanced lifestyle which includes hobbies such as exercising, sport and music.
OUR FEES
Our fees differ depending on the condition or treatment used. We are structured according to the SASP rates and are VAT registered. Clients who do not have medical aid are encouraged to settle their accounts via our preferred payment methods below. If you belong to a medical aid, our receptionist will directly send your account to your medical aid. You will receive a copy of the statement for your own records.
